Quiet the Mind
Created for GDevelop's Staged Scene Jam.
Move: WSAD
Jump: Space key
This might burn your computer, but with the new 3D editor in place, I wanted to see how far I can push the 3D experience. Given this is my first 3D project in GDevelop, I learned a ton about how it all works, and also some Blender.
The assets used were either purchased or free, then modified. They are as follows:
- Lowpoly Baker's House by Evgenia
- Skybox by Render Knight
- Ambient Sounds by Nox Sound
- Wheat model by KillTheSaint (not working in Chrome)
- Log model by MurUp Creative
That's all, folks!
EDIT: The wheat model is not showing in browser properly, so I uploaded a Windows build for anyone looking for a more polished experience.

Other than performance issue, visuals are great
Thanks! Should have used billboards for the grass, but oh well 😬 LODs and culling is what should come next to GDevelop. Can't do serious 3D without it... but the editor performance is also poor when you have so many objects. Regardless, exciting times for GDevelop ahead!
